Delighted to announce that the artists behind Games Night! at the Glue Factory will be contributing late-night art, games and performance to The Glasgow School of Art 2013 Degree Show After Party at The Arches! Can’t wait for this. Also loving the poster by Kim Grant, commissioned by The Art School.
The Old Hairdressers - Sunday 19th May - 8pm - Free Enty
The fabulous Ms B returns to present an evening of entertaining and informative David-themed talks, performances and no doubt excellent outfits at The Old Hairdressers, featuring esteemed showbusiness professionals including Mairi Mackenzie, Joe Howe, Michelle Hannah and Lucien’s Ghost.
Working on posters of sad lonely lyrics from sad lonely dance hits. This one’s from ‘Not Over Yet’ by Grace, which is totally heartbreaking. Part one of series of neon signs (cheap versions - paper not tubing) for building hoardings next to posters for expensive clubs. In situ photographs to follow.
Made for the rack in Primark/H&M/similar in-between cheapo Nirvana t-shirts and those slogan tees that say ‘Dork’ ‘Geek’ etc.

Neon keeps coming my way this week - here’s a stunning poster for the new Nicolas Winding Refn film that I incidentally cannot WAIT for.
Was sent this by a friend this morning - not sure who it is by, but I’m imagining walking through a door underneath it, and it’s a perfect thought.
Ms B Presents… BOWIE
Pleased to announce that lecture + performance night Ms B Presents… is returning to The Old Hairdressers on Sunday 19th May - and I’m looking for participants…
After a run of supernatural-themed events last year, 2013’s series is going to be flavoured with musical acts whose influence is felt across pop culture and beyond, and so I couldn’t resist a Bowie opener to give the series a cuban-heeled kick-start.
I’m looking for writers, performers, lecturers, historians, musicians and other interested/interesting individuals to contribute talks, lectures, presentations and/or performances of all kinds, responding to Bowie and satellite cultural happenings. All contributions to be up to 30 minutes long. Ideas, proposals and questions to clairebiddles@hotmail.co.uk
